Sam Agrawal is the founder and CEO of Los Angeles based Acumor, having served as an IT consultant for over 15 years. Sam founded Acumor in 2009 after the financial crisis, realizing that more small businesses would be looking for ways to affordably scale and practice leaner, more flexible ways of utilizing technology. Prior to starting Acumor, as an IT consultant Sam has provided breakthrough technology solutions for companies in all different sizes and industries. Sam is passionate about helping his customers succeed through the use of flexible and affordable cloud technology solutions.
Sam is a member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) Accelerator program and ProVisors. Sam lives in Los Angeles and has received is Master of Science from USC and MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business.
David Chung is the VP of Operations with Acumor. After graduating with a degree in Mathematics/Economics from UCLA, he has pursued career options in all areas except math and economics. His industry experience runs the gamut from education to manufacturing, from small business owner to medical gases. However wide that range, there has always been one constant: his love of technology and using it to find solutions.
Whatever the position (from entry-level analyst to director of operations), and however big the company (from a start-up to a national corporation), David has always been driven to find new ways to grow the company and to help colleagues be their best. His mission now is to use that drive and knowledge to help more companies grow and thrive.
Alex Oliver graduated from the University of Maine with a BS in finance and management in 2011. Upon graduation, Alex was hired as an expansion Division Head for a consulting firm working with college students that moved him to Los Angeles, where project collaboration was crucial and cloud computing solutions became second nature. This experience also helped bring the perspective that many small and mid-sized business owners have when evaluating IT services to increase overall productivity. Alex is highly experienced in working with customers to quickly assess what their needs are and what appropriate products will exceed their needs across various budgets.
Rhonda Pitman has 12+ years of experience in SaaS, technology, finance and operations. She is a strategic marketing partner for Acumor and is Acumor's web design and development partner for our clients. She is a partner in a creative web strategy, design and development agency called Magic+Logic. Rhonda holds a Master's of International Management from Portland State University as well as a BA in Art History and Printmaking. After leaving a brief career in the arts, Rhonda pursued technology and business, running a small SaaS startup in 2003-2004 and then took on a role as a Sr. Business Analyst bridging the gap between operations, technology and investor reporting at Ares Management, a Los Angeles based investment firm. Since leaving Ares in 2011, Rhonda has spent time consulting clients as an interim COO, financial analyst and growing Magic+Logic's footprint as a boutique creative agency providing digital marketing strategies, design and development to entertainment clients, political and non-profit clients as well as large brands. Her varied experience and expertise makes her agency a great partner for our clients seeking to update and grow their digital presence.
